Lease Purchase F.A.Q
The Microf agreement is a month-to-month lease with a purchase option, so interest rates do not apply.
Microf’s cost of lease services is competitive with other consumer finance options and varies depending on
the options selected. The cost of lease services can be evaluated by using the “payment estimator” found on
www.microf.com. Microf also offers discounts that can help reduce the cost even further.
Microf offers referral, ACH/ direct debit, and early payoff discounts.
Yes, Microf customers can exercise their Early Purchase Option at any time. In fact, the early purchase option
price reflects a significant savings compared with the total of payments to ownership.
The Early Purchase Option varies by state, so refer to your Rental Purchase Agreement or contact a Microf
representative to determine the applicable early purchase option price.
Microf uses several factors in making its decision to approve or decline an application. Verifying that the
applicant has an active checking account and that the account is in good health is one of those factors.
The 1st monthly rental payment is due on or before the Rental Purchase Agreement Date, which is also the
Installation Dates. That payment is made to Microf and electronically taken via credit, debit, reloadable
debit, etc.
A capitalized cost reduction cannot be made in CA, IN and WV. Any capitalized cost reduction will be made
directly to the contractor performing your installation and will act to reduce the cost of lease services.
Yes. The minimum amount Microf will approve is $2500. The minimum amount Microf will approve in CA, CT,
IA, ME, NY, OH, PA, VT, and WV is $3,000. Microf will only consider residential HVAC systems or Gas Furnace
replacements so the minimum rarely is a factor. The maximum approval amount is determined by Microf in
our sole discretion.
Microf does not use your FICO score to determine eligibility. Your FICO score is typically reported by large
consumer reporting agencies such as Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Microf does use scoring models
provided by other consumer reporting agencies and we do report positive/negative payment histories to
them.
